On Friday, December 16th, 2016, the Girls Varsity Eagles took on the Nature Coast Sharks. It was an intense match between the two rivals, with the Eagles showing strong teamwork as they ran the field. During halftime, the girls gathered a bouquet of flowers for each of the Seniors on their team, as Senior night was among us. Our Seniors, Alexis Verdi, Sasha Garcia, Christina Lacy, Kimberly Gibson, and Tia Crawford, strutted down the field, flowers and other gifts in hand, with their family and teammates by their sides, cheering them on. Tears were shed, as our Seniors realized that this would be their last year on the field. The final score of the night ended up being 3 to 1, with our Lady Eagles taking the win.
