Father of two, Coach Rob Mahler has coached high school football in Hernando and Pasco Counties. Coach Mahler and his wife Jordan, have been active community members sacrificing time and energy for the betterment of local high school student-athletes. Now it is time for the community to give back and help them. Recently, their one year old son, Clayton was diagnosed with pediatric cancer. Springstead High School Athletics would like honor Clayton and the Mahler family and help them in their fight on Saturday, August 12th, 2017 at our “Preseason Clash 4 Clayton”.
- Scrimmages will take place 9:30am-2:00pm at Springstead High School’s Stadium
- Each team will scrimmage for a quarter as part of an Official FHSAA Referees’ Training
- $2 to enter for the entire event – no passes accepted
- Donations will be accepted for the Mahler Family as well
- Concessions will be available

All proceeds from the gate, as well as any donations will go directly to Clayton Mahler and the Mahler family to help offset their medical expenses.
